This game is very well made, and the aesthetic is very fitting for the story and genre. I especially enjoyed the ending a lot. However, I will say the photo-taking mechanic while fun was a bit wonky, in my experience.
It seemed to struggle a lot with realising I had already taken a photo of the character, especially at the second stage of the game. It got to a point where I was just spamming taking many photos of the same character aiming everywhere just so I could trigger the ending. So sadly, the gameplay became a bit frustrating. Other than that this game is very well executed and I see a lot of potential for any future game projects you create.
While short, I enjoyed this game a lot. I'm a sucker for cute games that end up being spooky or haunted
A good game, the gore was really well-drawn and pretty haunting! The story was neat, albeit rather short, and the characters were pretty cute! The only complaint I have is that the dialogue is waaaay too slow, but other than that, its a pretty good game!
Also, what are the characters pronouns? And is the player character named Hopper or Sunshine? That really confused me.
Hello, I wrote the game! Howl uses he/him, bunsie she/her, kittevieve she/her, ribberette she/her, clawde he/him! The names “hopper” and “sunshine” are supposed to be nicknames of the character, kinda mimicking how animal crossing characters give the player different nicknames. Thank you for playing!!!
